CRM Operations Manager (Finance)



Compensation Range:
$90,000.00 - $150,000.00 Annual Salary

Job Description Summary:
Manages the CRM platform's day-to-day operations while implementing system enhancements, ensuring data integrity, and driving adoption through training and support. Collaborates with Director of CRM Operations and Business Strategy, IT, Finance, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to ensure the CRM is optimized to support business development, proposal development efficiency, and keep pace with the company's growth and strategic direction.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Own and manage the CRM platform, ensuring optimal performance, user experience, and alignment with business goals.
  • Design, execute, and implement scalable training programs (virtual and in-person) to drive system adoption, user competency, and consistent best practices resulting in higher quality data.
  • Lead the creation, documentation, and enforcement of CRM policies, processes, and system usage standards.
  • Support planning and execution of system upgrades, enhancements, and testing related to CRM configuration and connected systems (e.g., ERP).
  • Oversee data governance and integrity protocols, including ongoing auditing, standardization, and correction of data across users and departments.
  • Collaborate with Business Technology (BTech) and company leadership to lead and align CRM functionality with enterprise-wide goals and departmental needs.
  • Proactively identify and implement opportunities to enhance system performance and user experience through innovation and automation.
  • Mentor and support junior CRM team members/coordinators
  • Manage the development, customization, production, and maintenance of dashboards and reporting used by executives, marketing, and operations.
  • Manage CRM user licenses, user roles, and permissions, ensuring appropriate access levels and security compliance.

MINIMUM SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5-7 years of professional experience (with at least 2+ years directly working with CRM systems)
  • 1+ years of team leadership or project coordination experience (not full management responsibility yet)
  • Some familiarity with the A/E/C industry is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Unanet, Salesforce, Deltek, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Experience assisting with CRM process design, reporting, and user training
