Sr. Business Analyst (Finance)

We are currently looking to add a Sr. Business Analyst to our team in St. Cloud, MN. In this role, you will be responsible for acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, with business stakeholders to shape and deliver technology solutions that advance company strategy. This role oversees the full project lifecycle, leads change management, and ensures adoption of solutions while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. The Senior Business Analyst balances analytical expertise with strategic influence to drive value on IT initiatives.
What can I expect in this role?
This is a full-time, salaried position with standard business hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Following successful completion of onboarding, you'll transition to a hybrid work schedule:

Work from home on Mondays and Fridays

In-office at our St. Cloud location on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

Some key duties in this role include:

Analytical & Problem Solving
· Gather and document business requirements through interviews and discussions with process owners, SMEs, and stakeholders.
· Analyze business processes to identify improvement opportunities and recommend potential solutions.
· Partner with technical teams and consultants to ensure proposed solutions align with business requirements and stakeholder needs.
· Develop QA/testing plans, training materials, and process documentation to ensure adoption and successful outcomes.
Communication
· Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, fostering trust and collaboration.
· Communicate complex ideas clearly in verbal, written, and visual formats to support understanding and alignment.
· Facilitate discussions, build consensus, and guide stakeholders toward value-focused decisions.
· Manage communication plans, lead meetings, and provide timely updates to keep stakeholders informed.
Planning & Organizing
· Lead feasibility assessments and scope definition for business process and technology initiatives.
· Develop project plans, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and quality throughout the lifecycle.
· Balance stakeholder expectations with project constraints to ensure realistic and achievable outcomes.
· Drive projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results

Here is what we are looking for:
Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Business Administration.
5+ years of experience as Business Analyst working with a major ERP system.
Experience working with NetSuite ERP or Salesforce CRM preferred.
Experience working with Agile and Waterfall Software Development methodology.
Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and execute projects.
Demonstrated success in managing stakeholder relationships, influencing business decisions, and consensus building.
Experience with Visio or other business process definition tools.
Knowledge of relational database concepts and basic SQL skills.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screeen.
