Cashier/Barista, Dockside FT - Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina (Finance)
The Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Marina is looking for their next Cashier/Barista at the hotels Dockside Provisions F&B outlet.
The hotel is a newly renovated property finished in 2023, featuring 595 guestrooms, 3 F&B outlets and has over 37,000 square feet of meeting space featuring the Brand-New Intracoastal Ballroom overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. The hotel is located 3 miles from Ft. Lauderdale International Airport.
Our candidate should have at least one year experience in a cafe or coffee shop setting. The ideal candidate will have full open availability. Strong customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
Shift Pattern: Monday - Sunday for shifts starting as early as 5:00AM to 2:00PM and 2:00PM - 10:00PM.
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

What will I be doing?:
• Greets, prepares, services, and takes guests' orders for beverages and/or food in a friendly, courteous, professional and timely manner to ensure total guest satisfaction.
• Prepare and serve beverages such as espresso drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty drinks according to standard recipes.
• Operate coffee equipment includes espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and brewers with precision and care.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders accurately, answering questions about the menu, and creating a welcoming environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and customer spaces, including wiping counters and keeping the area tidy and organized.
• Restock inventories such as cups, lids, milk, syrups, coffee beans, and other supplies as needed throughout the shift.
• Handle payments using a point-of-sale (POS) system, processing transactions quickly and accurately.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Work efficiently during peak hours, managing multiple orders at once while maintaining quality and speed.
