Class A CDL Flatbed Truck Driver (Transportation)

We are seeking a Flat Bed Driver for County Materials Corporation located in St. Louis, MO.

Job Duties:
Demonstrate customer service while interfacing with clients.Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and in route inspections on all equipment, including securement devices.Properly secure load prior to transport following DOT regulations.Operate tractor trailer combinations.Transport freight while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.Perform duties consistent with all safety policies, including utilizing proper PPE.Unload transported material utilizing approved methods.Ensure cleanliness and good operating condition for assigned tractor.Receive work assignments and report back on job completion.Use consistent communicate with dispatcher.Maintain customer relations by acting in a professional, courteous manner.

Work Environment:
Work in outdoor weather conditions.Work near moving machinery and equipment.Work in a noisy environment.

Physical Requirements:
Sitting.Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds.Standing / Walking / Climbing.Squatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending.Pushing / Pulling / Reaching Above Shoulder.

Experience & Qualifications:
Must hold a valid Class A CDL prior to hire.Maintain an active DOT qualification.Minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience required.Ability to perform well in a "Team" environment.Self-motivator and must be flexible to accommodate the client's needs.
