What will your job look like?
The Senior Transit Technology Specialist is charged with the ongoing maintenance, support, upgrades, new development, and deployment of Transit technology, which encompasses a wide and diverse set of hardware and software. This extends from maintaining an expertise level of knowledge of existing products to developing new products and services for the company. The Senior Transit Technology Specialist must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.
The Senior Transit Technology Specialist provides hands-on support, maintenance, training, performance monitoring, and optimization of all infrastructure components in support of the product with an emphasis on Mobile Technology. This role will manage and coordinate issue resolution for MTM Transit client base and employees and oversees the resolution and/or tracking of reported issues, ensuring all issues are addressed to closure.
The Senior Transit Technology Specialist will work closely with the MTM Technology team to provide Level 3 support and is the Subject Matter expert for all technologies deployed.

What you'll do:
Provide mentorship, guidance and coaching for the Transit Technology Specialist
Manage IT services vendors
Develop, test, resolve, and document new software features for training and deployment
Create a strategic plan for Transit software installations
Develop new products and services for MTM
Facilitate a team environment to enable efficient and accurate communication through entire organization
Troubleshoot logistic technology software and document issues and expected results
Lead implementation of Transit technology
Create reports and presentations for internal and external Clients
Serve as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders to ensure the highest degree of customer satisfaction
Deliver educational programs to continuously increase both internal and external customer use of the Transit technology product suites through the use of e-Learning and digital content delivery methods and certifications
Provide consultation services to internal and external customers to advise of the available technology and employ best practices in the use of Transit technology; ensuring that each customer's deployment of Transit technology is optimized for maximum value
Provide on-going training and coaching for Clients and support staff on all services and products
Execute project plans to ensure that MTM is delivering superior customer care and delivering the latest and most applicable versions of the Transit technology to our vendors
Complete tasks and assignments of the project to ensure that both the company and customer's business objectives are being met on a project-by-project basis through on-site and remote training and technical support as the leader of the customer care team

What you'll need:
Experience, Education & Certifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Bachelor's degree in technical or business disciplines required; willing to accept equivalent field experience
5 + years' experience in a consulting role for transit software support
Experience with operational efficiencies in paratransit and fixed route industries
Experience supporting Transit operations in the field
Experience with API integration into business intelligence tools, such as Power Bi and Tableau, strongly preferred
Experience with MS SQL Server or other relational database systems, strongly preferred
Skills:
Subject Matter Export in RSD software platforms
Subject Matter Export in all technology utilized within the transit industry
Demonstrate a high level of ownership
Must be able to demonstrate strong customer service skills
Ability to maintain positive and team focused during high stress situations
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality

Salary Min: $80,000
Salary Max: $125,000
