School Bus Activity Driver (Transportation)
Safely operate and maintain the school bus, conducting pre-trip inspections to ensure it is in good working condition.
Ensure the safety of students during boarding, travel, and disembarking, including the use of safety restraints.
Follow established routes and schedules, adjusting for any unforeseen delays or detours.
Assist with loading and unloading equipment and supplies required for each trip as needed.
Respond to any emergencies or incidents on the bus, following established protocols.
Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate authorities.
Uphold a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with students, parents, and school staff.
Qualifications:
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement. - Don't have a CDL?! We will provide paid training to get you licensed!
Clean driving record
Prior experience as a school bus driver or similar role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong commitment to safety and student well-being.
Ability to maintain a positive atmosphere on the bus.
Dependability and punctuality.
Ability to follow directions and adhere to schedules.
