HR Assistant (Finance)
Assist in employee orientation/onboarding (new hire paperwork, including H2B visa program onboarding/termination, background checks, and other tasks associated with onboarding)
Initiate and track employee benefit enrollments
Perform post-employment termination tasks such as COBRA
Assist with training coordination and maintain certification and licensure files
Maintain employee records
Post jobs internally and externally
Perform prescreens of some company open positions
Initiate performance reviews and peer reviews
Assist in administrative and paperwork functions of workers compensation, OSHA log, and Department of Transportation
Provide backup for front desk receptionist as needed
Support the HR Manager in the daily operational employee needs of the company
Other functions as assigned
