IT Service Management Administrator - Remote (Finance)



Description

We're looking for an IT Service Management (ITSM) Administrator to support our life-saving mission by leading the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of our ServiceNow platform. In this role, you'll serve as the subject matter expert for ITSM, supporting internal users and IT teams by managing integrations with other applications, databases, monitoring tools, and infrastructure. You'll also guide the development and documentation of ITSM processes that help ensure the reliability of the systems we depend on to deliver critical healthcare services.

Work Location: This position can be located remotely from a work-at-home environment anywhere in the United States.

As an IT Service Management Administrator, you'll get to:
  • Perform ongoing development, patching, and upgrades to the ITSM tool (ServiceNow).
  • Maintain and continuously improve ITSM policies, processes, and procedure documentation.
  • Fulfill service requests and resolve incidents related to the ITSM tool.
  • Configure and optimize the ITSM Self-Service portal for user-friendly access.
  • Update and enhance ITSM process workflows, including implementing workflow automation.
  • Develop and lead training sessions for employees on effective use of the ITSM tool.
  • Monitor issue trends and user feedback to identify and implement process or technology improvements.
  • Lead Continual Service Improvement efforts across ITSM processes to enhance service delivery.
  • Serve as Process Manager for one or more key ITSM processes.

Requirements

Knowledge/ Education

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and work experience in IT technology required.
  • Knowledge in ITIL incident management and request fulfillment, system development life cycle, and project management principles required.
  • Working knowledge of databases, Active Directory, APIs, SCCM, and IT infrastructure required.
  • Knowledge in an object-oriented programming language (e.g. Powershell, Java, C#, etc.) or logical deductive system(s) required.
Licenses/ Certifications
  • ITIL v4 Foundation required.
  • ITSM certification(s) (e.g. CCPA, CCPD, etc.) required.
Experience
  • Five years of related experience required. To include five years of maintaining IT process and procedure documentation.
  • Three years of experience designing fulfillment task workflows preferred.
  • Three years of experience in the administration of an enterprise ITSM tool preferred.
  • Two years of experience in scripting/programming preferred.

  • Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities.

  • Must be self-motivated with good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Detail oriented and analytical.
  • Thrives in a multi-tasking environment and can adjust priorities on-the-fly
