Visiting Assistant Instructor/Assistant Professor of Instruction - Geosciences (Finance)
The School of Geosciences at the University of South Florida seeks to fill a 9 month, full-time and non-tenure-earning, Visiting Assistant Instructor or Visiting Assistant Professor of Instruction position, with a start date of August 7, 2025. Salary is $50,000. This is a one-year visiting appointment with the possibility of renewal.

Questions about this position should be directed to Dr. Joni Firat at downs@usf.edu .Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited institution in the field of Geography, Remote Sensing, Environmental Sciences or a closely related field with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Instructor or Assistant Professor of Instruction.
Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated record of achievement in teaching GIS.
This position may be subject to a Level 1 or Level 2 criminal background check. This position is subject to Foreign Influence Screening. House Bill 7017 ("HB 7017).
