Electronic Security System Management Specialist (Security)
SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION
The ideal candidate will perform security system planning, installation, management and administrative support for a large, complex, and mission critical electronic security system (ESS) and specializes in access control system/intrusion detection system (ACS/IDS) support. The position provides ACS/IDS subject matter expertise for security and law enforcement operations supporting a large geographic area. The candidate must be able to perform analysis of system operability and effectiveness with respect to mission requirements, and manage and analyze data from the ESS and ACS/IDS system to inform decisions regarding use, and support decision-making for investments, replacement, expansion, configuration, integration, and operations.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate must have seven years of experience with managing large scale access control, intrusion detection, internet protocol-based video surveillance, identity management, or other similar types of electronic security systems; or five years of similar experience with a baccalaureate degree; or three years of similar experience with a post-baccalaureate degree in a technical field.
Additionally, the candidate must have relevant/appropriate industry certifications in one or more of the following systems: CCURE, SoftwareHouse, AMAG Symmetry, and Bosch Video Management System.
An active SECRET clearance is required at time of hire.
