We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for evaluating bid opportunities, preparing detailed proposals, and ensuring competitive and accurate estimates for a wide range of commercial roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of roofing systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

What you'll do
Collaborate with Bid Coordinator to select opportunities for bid.
Bid invitations, plans, specifications, and addenda to prepare accurate and competitive estimates.
Assesses projects to identify labor, material, costs, and time requirements by researching bid invites, blueprints, contracts, and any other related documents.
Obtain pricing from vendors and suppliers.
Prepare detailed proposals and bid packages in a timely manner.
Participate in pre-construction meetings and client meetings as needed.
Maintain relationships with general contractors, owners, architects, consultants, and suppliers.
Coordinate with project management teams to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to project execution.
Analyze historical data and market trends to improve accuracy and competitiveness.
