Acad Exc Compliance Analyst (Finance)



Target Salary Range: $60,000-$64,000

The Office of Academic Planning (AP) is responsible for institutional accreditation, maintaining institutional effectiveness, and managing academic programs at the University of South Florida (USF). The AP unit supports colleges and various units in the University in reviewing and modifying existing programs and developing new programs. It ensures the programs offered by USF meet Association of American Universities (AAU) standards, conform to the Florida Board of Governors (BOG) regulations and accreditation standards.

The Academic Compliance Analyst is a valuable member within the Academic Planning team and plays a critical role in supporting academic compliance, program development, and digital content management to advance the strategic goals of the University of South Florida. Key responsibilities include monitoring compliance and contributing to continuous improvement efforts, conducting data documentation and analysis for internal and external reporting, and managing academic-related web content. The role also involves researching peer institutions and accreditation standards to inform curricular development and support program planning. Additionally, the position supervises student employees and contributes to a collaborative, service-oriented team environment. Through these functions, the position ensures alignment with academic policies and standards while enhancing the effectiveness and visibility of academic programs.Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Minimum Qualifications:

  • This position requires a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of related experience.
  • Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree with three years of related experience

  • Compliance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement

    • Documents and analyzes data to produce reports for internal and external use and reporting.
  • Web Application and Content
    • Contributes to the creation and the maintenance of academic-related web-based systems.
    • Creates relevant content to support online communication.
    • Manages the team's CMS website.
  • Curricular Research
    • Researches peer institutions' curricula, programs, and accreditation processes to enhance USF's academic programs portfolio.
    • Provides program markets data, as needed
  • Accreditation Support
    • Provides support for the institutional accreditation process.
  • Supervision
    • Oversees student employee(s), providing guidance and support.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
