Manufacturing Associate II, Media (Biotech)

We are seeking a Manufacturing Associate II to join our dedicated third-shift team in our Powder and Liquid Media production facility. This role plays a key part in supporting our aseptic manufacturing operations and ensuring the highest standards of product quality, safety, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable working in a cleanroom environment, and able to follow strict GMP and SOP guidelines. Note: first shift (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday).
Key Responsibilities:
Execute aseptic processing in cleanroom environments following SOPs and GMP regulations
Set up and operate production equipment and perform integrity testing on sterilizing filters
Complete all documentation in real time to ensure compliance
Perform personal and environmental monitoring and gown aseptically
Clean and maintain production tanks and associated equipment
Formulate bulk products and stock solutions, including processing in laminar flow biosafety cabinets (LFBSC)
Prepare and autoclave filling materials and support material transfer and staging activities
Support drum filling operations and other production-related tasks
Maintain accurate production bin inventory
Participate in deviation investigations by providing relevant information
Support general housekeeping and environmental monitoring of the facility
Stay current with all job-relevant trainings and SOP updates
Mentor and train junior team members as needed
Available for business-required overtime
Key Requirements:
Prior experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing or cleanroom environment preferred
Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain high attention to accuracy and safety
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high workload setting
Must be able to be onsite 4 days a week
Training Schedule: First Shift – 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday

As required by law in this state, the quoted salary range for this onsite position is $46,000.00 – $74,000.00. We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities; while also allowing for differentiation on performance based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at the company between the lower and the middle part of the applicable range. We tailor our offers within the range based on job-related factors, including organizational needs, internal equity, market data, geographic area and the selected candidate's experience, education, industry knowledge, location, technical and/or communication skills and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. This range is only inclusive of base salary, and base pay is just one component of Lonza's total compensation package for employees.
