Summary
Our District Managers are integral to the success of our company. As a District Manager, it's your job to build and motivate effective store teams. In this role, you act as a liaison between your district and company headquarters to lead a collection of high-performing store teams that engage our customers and drive business results. You take ownership of your team to execute initiatives while you actively work to create a culture of trust and accountability.
Description
As a District Manager, you continuously build and develop your store teams. You partner closely with the Regional Director to create individual development plans that support personal needs and career growth for direct reports while leading your Store Managers to train and develop all employees. You champion customer service and develop your teams to provide the highest possible customer service across all your district, including our 5th Ave Flagship store. You have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make good decisions under pressure that are guided by both global and regional retail strategies and business priorities. Further, you know how to adapt to business needs in order to drive sales and traffic while delivering revenue goals. As a District Manager, you represent the company at all times; you work closely with key teams including People and Experience (HR) to promote our company's culture and values.
As a District Manager, you are accountable for the day-to-day operations of multiple retail locations including our 5th Ave Flagship location and serve as the first point of contact between your store teams and the corporate office. You frequently lead executive level visits throughout the NYC Metro Market and ensure the NYC Metro Market, including the 5th Ave Flagship, represents our brand and culture through its customers and employees. More specifically, you are responsible for your district's budget, sales goals, inventory, cash, and labor. It's your job to educate your teams on revenue projections and financial targets while providing direction to ensure consistency in training, operations, store standards, and visual merchandising across your district. You actively work to provide insights and develop strategies for your district while maintaining frequent contact with your store leadership teams and corporate stakeholders to ensure execution of initiatives. Further, you understand that the needs of the business extend beyond the walls of your stores; you take initiative and ownership for driving traffic to your stores by maintaining awareness of industry trends and local competitors.
