This position will complete vendor evaluations to determine risk and appropriate additional due diligence. This position will work closely with vendors to ensure that ingredients and suppliers sourced and external manufacturers producing finished product are compliant to our minimum Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory (FSQR) standards. This position will identify FSQR vendor gaps, communicate to vendors and verify when necessary that FSQR gaps have been closed satisfactory. In this role, you will partner with the business to schedule audits ,train resources and evaluate materials to determine risk. This position will strongly partner with Risk Management and Sourcing (RMS), Strategic Marketing & Technology (SMT), Supply Chain, FSQR, commercial and operations teams to manage the risk related to vendors and ingredients. This position will be the Archer technology champion for the business. This position will report to the Regional Supplier and External Manufacturer (S&EM) Leader.
Thisposition has the ability to work from a remote home-office location.
40% Program deployment and execution –This role will drive the implementation and management of S&EM process, including assuring use of only approved vendors who have provided all required documentation and completed required food safety improvements as a result of food safety assessments. All while championing the Archer technology.
25% Perform Prevention Activities – Audit suppliers and external manufacturers and/or coordinate efforts of others within the businesses to complete and ensure follow up on audit findings.
20% Shape Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory Culture and Reputation – Assist business to assure compliance to the S&EM process, ensure resources are trained and calibrated. Leads change management communication and ensures ongoing relationship management with suppliers and external manufacturers.
15% Develop, Implement and Assess Process and Systems – Executes for compliance to all S&EM requirements for North America. Provides input to S&EM leadership when goals will not be met, or when resources are needed, etc.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in science, chemistry, microbiology, quality assurance or another applicable field
5 or more years of working experience with 1 or more years in a technical related field such as plant operations, food safety and/or quality assurance
