Positions are available in the following departments:
Extrusion:
This department is responsible for extruding aluminum. Aluminum extrusion is the process of shaping the metal by forcing it to flow through a shaped opening in a die. The result ai an elongated piece of aluminum with the same shape as the die opening. It is used in glass framing for multitudes of applications. This position is responsible for putting cut metal in racks or containers, assisting the saw operator, and visually inspecting the product for q2uality flaws.
Anodizing:
This department is responsible for the racking and unracking steps in the anodizing process.
the function of racking is to hold the part tight during transfer between different process tanks and to provide sufficient contact on the part, so that enough current can run, to form a uniform layer on the aluminum part. This position will be responsible for loading extrusions onto anodizing racks for the finished process. Once the rack has been finished, the employee will unload the rack and push finished materials to the proper staging area.
Paint:
This department is responsible for painting the extruded materials based on customer specifications. This position will be responsible for checking the extrusion to ensure the condition is met for a quality finish. This role will also load material from pretreatment line onto the paint line, remove, and inspect for quality, placing the materials on a buggy/cart for transportation to the proper staging areas.
Insulbar:
This department is responsible for operating strut cutting machines, loading strut coils, and entering information to ensure correct length of strut is cut according to the specification. This position will be responsible for locating and moving parts and strut for setups, loading material onto and off the conveyor, set up and running strut machines. In addition, will be responsible for performing and documenting quality checks during the Insulbar process by verifying prints that all parts match and requirements of the assembly are met.
Material Handling/Packing:
This department is responsible for transferring and delivering extruded aluminum throughout the facility. This position will require the use of and pallet jack, motorized pallet jack and overhead crane to move materials. This position is also responsible for verification of labels on products to ensure materials are moved to the correct location.
Shipping:
This department is responsible for fulfilling shipping orders by picking the right products from inventory and packing the goods using the correct packing materials. This position is responsible for moving packed metal from packing tables to shipping areas utilizing overhead cranes. In addition, the person will be responsible for verifying labels of boxes in bundles, to ensure that boxes are shipped to the correct customer.
