Senior Coordinator, Awards--Education and Child Protection (Project Management)
Summary
The Senior Awards Coordinator is a key member of the Award Management team of the Department of Education and Child Protection that coordinates a portfolio of private awards, including from Corporations and Foundations. The primary responsibilities of this position include award administration, financial review and donor compliance of awards from opportunity to close out. The Senior Award Coordinator must ensure timely project implementation, and effective flow of information and resources to Save the Children International, our program implementation unit, via Save the Children's Award Management and Financial systems. This position liaises with relevant stakeholders, particularly technical, finance, procurement and fund-raising staff, as well as Country Office Award Management staff. The Senior Award Coordinator problem-solves to ensure health of the caseload of awards, primarily from Corporations and Foundations, escalating any issues to their supervisor as needed.
