We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team, serving projects in Salt Lake County, Utah County, and surrounding areas. This position is responsible for supervising the field construction of projects, ensuring completion on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage field crews, ensuring productivity, efficient use of materials and equipment, and successful project execution.
• Enforce safety procedures, work rules, and project protocols for all personnel on site.
• Create and manage daily and weekly schedules for field personnel and construction activities.
• Maintain a hands-on role in ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
• Interpret and execute project plans and specifications with precision.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
• Oversee logistics for materials and equipment, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal workflow.
• Foster strong communication and collaboration across teams, including field staff, management, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Track crew attendance and communicate scheduling changes, including rain day notifications, before the start of the workday.
• Promote a strong safety culture by leading daily and weekly safety meetings and conducting regular site inspections.
• Review safe work plans and hazard assessments with crews prior to project kickoffs.
• Partner with the Safety Department to investigate incidents or near misses and ensure proper reporting and follow-up in line with company procedures.
• Represent the company professionally with clients, inspectors, the public, and internal teams.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of OSHA requirements and maintain an exceptional safety record.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in earthwork, underground utilities, subgrade/base, paving, and other commercial construction projects.
• Proven success managing construction or project operations in a civil construction environment.
• Ability to supervise construction projects based on general instructions and blueprints, while planning materials, tools, and equipment needs.
• Skilled in managing project logistics, including material ordering and coordination to align with construction timelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project) and other construction-related software tools.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel to various job sites in Salt Lake County, Utah County, and surrounding areas.
