PC Technician (Temp/Temp to Hire) (Information Technology)



Summary

This is a temporary role with the possibility of continued employment.  

As a temporary PC Technician, you will enhance the capability of the IT Department to support our users at all locations in a timely manner as well as support for IT members at all locations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

·Installing, configuring & maintaining PC's and peripherals

·Installing & configuring application & O/S software & upgrades

·Troubleshooting & repairing hardware & network connectivity issues

·Removing old equipment & performing migration to new equipment

·Client-side help desk support

·Asset tracking & inventory control

·Participate in our Cybersecurity initiatives

·Travel to other company offices may be required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent

Language Skills                   

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Computer Skills                   

Ability to navigate and use internet/intranet and other programs such as the MS Office package including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access, or Company-wide cross functional Enterprise Resource Planning software.  Must also be able to perform limited troubleshooting.

Mathematical Skills                   

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability                   

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

SALARY RANGE  

The starting hourly rate for the role is between USD $25.00 and $30.00. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for variable bonus programs and benefits.
