Interplant Driver

Shift: Days

Starting Rate: $21.39-$26.75 per hour for day shift with a $.50 an hour shift differential for night shift.

Work Hours: Days, afternoons and nights; 8 and 10-hour rotating schedules.

Location: We have 2 locations in Crawfordsville, IN: North Plant at 1009 Sloan Street; South Plant at 600 State Road 32 West. This job is for the South Plant.

As a CDL Driver, you will:

• Transport materials between manufacturing plants and the warehouse using a company tractor and trailer.
• Be able to recognize mechanical issues that would prevent you to operate the equipment safely.
• Have thorough knowledge of operating large vehicles with heavy loads with air brakes.
• Have the knowledge of State and local safety regulations, and knowledge of routes that can be legally driven.

Physical Requirements:

1. Able to communicate well with operators and crews.
2. Able to work in a fast paced environment.
3. Able to understand & follow safety rules.
4. Must be willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
5. Must be personally committed to concepts of high employee involvement, continuous improvement, and
diversity.
6. Basic computer skills are required.
7. Must be able to obtain LSC Communications hoist license by attending class and meeting requirements.
8> Must be able to obtain CDL Class A license

Qualifications:

• Must poses a Valid Class A CDL
• Ability to operate these vehicles over a variety of roads and steep grades
