V&V Engineer I (Finance)



As a V&V Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the verification and validation of our products and systems. You will be accountable for testing and ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, as well as identifying and resolving any issues or defects. Your work will contribute to the overall success of our engineering projects and the satisfaction of our customers.

You will report directly to our V&V Manager and you'll work out of our Pittsford, NY or Framingham, MA location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the quality and performance of our products, ensuring that they meet the highest standards and exceed customer expectations. You will work with cross-functional teams, including design engineers and project managers, to develop and execute test plans and strategies. Your attention to detail and thoughtful skills will be crucial in identifying and addressing any potential issues or risks.

Key Responsilibities:

  • Conduct various tests and experiments to identify any issues or defects in the products
  • Develop and execute test plans and strategies to verify and validate product performance and reliability.
  • Analyze test data and provide recommendations for improvement or resolution of issues.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
  • Document and report test results and findings to stakeholders
  • Support Lead Certification Engineer with test setups preparation for sustaining and new product development projects.
  • Domestic travel on per need basis to testing houses (UL, BV, TUV, etc.)
  • Gain technical expertise within Regulatory to support Compliance.

The annual base salary range for this position is $64,700 - $80,900. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Pittsford, NY location on a Hybrid work schedule.YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Strong knowledge of verification and validation processes and methodologies
  • Experience in conducting tests and analyzing test data
  • Attention to detail and strong thoughtful skills
