Inside Sales Account Manager (Finance)

As a VIAVI Solutions Inside Sales Account Manager (iSAM), you will sell the company's products, systems and services via telephone or electronic means to customers in your assigned territory, industry, or accounts utilizing the latest inside sales techniques.
As an iSAM team member, you will work closely with the outside Channel Territory Manager in the territory you are assigned. Your responsibilities include developing and driving business for our growing enterprise, rural telephone company and utility business via channel partners in the territory. You will learn how to position our current portfolio of Network Testing and Service Enablement Solutions. In this role, you will also work to strengthen the relationship between Viavi and the non-Viavi Sales Representatives that sell VIAVI products and serve as a powerful sales force on the street.
In addition to technical training, Viavi will provide you with sales skills across the entire sales process including prospecting, lead contacting and qualification, negotiation, and closing techniques to ensure you are ready to succeed with your sales quota. These skills will prepare you to take on more responsibilities and grow in the company.
This role is an overlay to the field sales force and supports the initiatives of the field sales organization and carries an individual or team quota. You will be responsible for keeping up-to-date knowledge of the industry and the competitive posture of the company. You will focus on acquiring new customers while also retaining and growing an existing base of customers. As a member of the sales force, you will be taught to develop sales plans and prepare forecast reports. You will represent the company to potential customers and are often the first contact a customer may have with Viavi Solutions.
