Life Enrichment Supervisor (Finance)
Assessment/ Planning: assesses residents' needs and develops plans for programming that meets identified needs
Implementing: leads or assists with conducting programming
Evaluating: evaluates effectiveness of programming
B. Public Relations: assures community involvement with facility and works with volunteers
C: Volunteer Services Development:
Needs Analysis and Service Planning: assesses residents and facility needs to determine potential; develops program and expectations for volunteers
Recruitment and Screening: utilizes a variety of means and resources to connect with potential volunteers and partnering organizations
Volunteer Training: ensures references have been obtained ; ensures volunteers receive proper orientation; supports and advises volunteer supervisors regarding training
Recognition: develops ongoing recognition program for volunteers and community organizations with involvement from all staff
D. Resident Care
Psycho-social Care: accommodates residents' needs through responding appropriately to residents' verbal/nonverbal expressions of needs
Spiritual Care: assures residents' spiritual needs are met by willing employees (self or others)
E. Resident Rights
Property: safeguards residents' property
Living Areas: keeps resident living areas pleasant and orderly
Dignity/Privacy/ Confidentiality: maintains residents' self-esteem, privacy and confidentiality of personal information
Independence / provides residents with opportunities for Choice: independence and choice consistent within their physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities
Advocacy: assures resident rights are protected and that all residents, families/ significant others are made aware of resident rights
F. Communication
Monitor/Document: completes all documentation within established timelines
Resident Status: receives and shares information; observes and reports residents' conditions to appropriate staff
Cooperation: works with team members and other staff members in a helpful, respectful and courteous manner
Socialization: assists residents in meeting their social needs through interaction with staff, family, & others
Customer Service: responds appropriately to residents' requests for help and maintains positive relationships with residents' friends and family members
G. Safety: maintains safe work practices and follows facility safety procedures
H. Infection Control: follows facility infection control procedures
I. Supervision: living out servant leadership
Delegate: understands the work of the positions supervised and clearly communicates work assignments and adjustments to needs either directly or through the designated staff supervisors
Provide Guidance: Monitors staff and volunteers' performance and provides feedback on a timely basis
Develop Staff and Volunteers: ensures employees and volunteers are trained well to perform their jobs
Motivate Staff and Volunteers: involves, encourages, affirms, and recognizes staff and volunteers in their partnership of care giving
Support Staff and Volunteers: cares about each person as an individual; encourages involvement, and intervenes on employees' and volunteers' behalf
Evaluation of Staff and Volunteers: provides ongoing evaluation of activity staff job performance and intervenes to correct employee performance or behavior and educates continually and as needed and documents as per policy and procedure
Correct Staff and Volunteers: intervenes to educate staff and volunteers' performance behaviors when needed
J. Department Administration
Mission: demonstrates/encourages quality care for the whole individual
Manage Budget: formulates and works within annual budget
Staffing: recruits, hires, and staffs work area at appropriate levels
Quality Work Environment: acquires resources and means that promote a quality work environment
Quality Improvement: ensures quality performance, conformance with regulation, standards, and laws, and customer satisfaction; assists and participates in the QAPI process
Innovation: keeps abreast of and implements new programs or practices

K. Other Basic Responsibilities
Attendance: arrives on time for work and is ready to perform assigned tasks
Personal Hygiene/Appearance: meets facility hygiene and appearance standards
Time Management: prioritizes and completes work assignments within reasonable agreed-upon time-frames
Conduct/Policies/ Procedures: follows facility conduct standards and policies and procedures performing all work alcohol and drug-free
Training/Meetings: meets requirements for in-service training and meeting attendance per facility policy and state and federal requirements
Continuous Quality Improvement: actively participates and works to identify and improve quality and work outcomes individually and as part of a team
Technical Skills: seeks to learn and utilize appropriate equipment and trends in technology
Professional Certification/ Licensure/ Standards: maintains required certification / qualifications and associated standards
Other: performs other duties as assigned
