Electrical Apprentice (Information Technology)
Apex Site Solutions is a wireless telecommunications contractor based in Elk Grove, CA. We service all of California, Nevada, Washington and Oregon. We are currently seeking an Electrical Apprentice. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Assist journeyman electricians with daily tasks, including preparing work sites, gathering materials, and cleaning up
Learn and apply electrical codes and safety regulations
Install and connect wiring, conduit, and other electrical components
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Troubleshoot electrical problems under supervision
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Maintain accurate records of work performed
Participate in training programs to develop electrical skills and knowledge
Adhere to all state regulations, company policies and procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Perform other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Enrollment or completion of a relevant vocational or technical program
Basic understanding of electrical principles is beneficial but not required
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of our tribe
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly
Physical ability to perform the demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and working in various positions
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Commitment to safety, willingness to adhere to safety regulations and live our core values
Preferred but NOT required- OSHA 10, OSHA 30, NWSA
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Local, out-of-the area and extended travel is required (up to 95%). Rotational assignments and on-call responsibilities may be expected.
