Quality Engineer (R&D)

The Quality Engineer supports a team in the creation and execution of automation tests providing customization and deployment of an enterprise-wide solution and ongoing operational support for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Using a SAFe Agile delivery framework, this project provides users with a low code / no code customizable workflow solution. Most users are non-technical, requiring solutions to be intuitive and highly flexible.

Position Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality throughout the software development life cycle
Participates in reviews of systems and elements under development to ensure traceability of requirement compliance through verification and validation
Participates in weekly demonstrations and reviews for testing results and test activities
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and technical specifications
Maintain test scripts and testing artifacts
Ensure high quality for all development enhancements
Maintain best practice and industry standards
Work collaboratively to support team activities
