Investor Relations Analyst (Finance)

Role Overview

As the Investor Relations Analyst, you'll have a big mission. Responsible for assuring the Company's standards are achieved and excellent customer service is delivered. You also understand the value of taking a moment to express gratitude to the village that helped to make it happen. As you can likely tell, 'how' things are done matters just as much as ‘what' was done here at BH!

Key Responsibilities

  • Create investment performance reports and distribute them via Juniper Square investor portal on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Provide analysis and support to the creation and maintenance of investment track record reporting, including waterfall and incentive return models, to ensure compliance with governing documents.
  • Provide analytical support for the preparation of quarterly valuations of various investments including using that data to determine Net Asset Value of the company's investment vehicles.
  • Coordinate with other departments (Fund Accounting, Property Accounting, Asset Management, Acquisitions, Due Diligence).
  • Communicate effectively with investors via phone/video conference and email.
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

You Have

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience in finance, investment banking, private equity, or real estate.
  • Proficient in MS Excel with the ability to develop and use financial models of investments and to manipulate and organize data.
  • Knowledge of financial concepts critical to investment valuation and underwriting (Internal Rate of Return, Net Present Value, Return on Investment, Compounding, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently to complete tasks, respond to requests, and to collaborate with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify quality solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan/prioritize multiple projects to ensure efficient and timely deliverables; strong attention to detail; ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, presentation skills essential with an aptitude towards client service; ability to communicate with all levels of management (both written and verbal) as well as staff members
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to determine novel solutions.
  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive, deadline-driven driven and high-volume environment.
  • Prior experience with real estate, private equity, public equity, or corporate debt analysis.
  • Preferred qualifications include prior experience with Juniper Square, ARGUS, and Yardi, as well as active candidacy for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
