Planning Associate (Administrative)

Responsibilities:

• Streamline data collection and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and ensure timely access to accurate information for decision-making.
• Analyze industry trends, competitor performance, and market opportunities to identify growth, expansion, and profit potential.
• Investigate acquisitions, sales, and business development opportunities through comprehensive financial modeling and risk evaluation.
• Prepare reports, forecasts, and presentations for division management.
• Monitor operational and process improvement initiatives to optimize region and mill performance.
• Develop and plan the comprehensive business and capital plans for the Wood Products Division.
• Lead cross-functional teams on major projects and drive change across all organizational levels.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

College degree or equivalent experience in economics, finance, business administration, accounting or engineering. Specialized on-the-job training and/or a minimum of three (3) years of experience in finance, economics, operations, or accounting. Proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, data queries, basic financial modeling, analytical skills, keen attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
