Make a difference in the life of a child as a pediatric specialty nurse at American Family Children's Hospital.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Diagnostic and Therapy Center to:
Education:
Minimum -
Preferred – Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Work Experience:
Minimum – One year of relevant Pediatric Nursing experience
Preferred – One year of recent (within 2 years) experience in Pediatric Acute Care and/or Pediatric hematology/oncology and/or Pediatric Sedation and/or Pediatric PACU or pre/post anesthesia area.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin.; CPR certification
Preferred - Chemotherapy certification; PALS certification
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Physical Requirements:
Medium: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Work Schedule:
This is a per diem position. Monday – Friday, Day/Evening, 8, 10, and 12 hour shifts. No weekends, holidays or on call. Must work a minimum of 16 hour per 4 week schedule period. Hours may vary based on operational needs of department.
