Account Executive - Telecom, Energy, and Travel (Finance)



The Account Executive is a client-facing, sales role responsible for revenue generation, customer relationship and Equifax engagement within accounts in the telecommunications, energy/utilities, and travel/hospitality verticals . The Account Executive must orchestrate other company resources efficiently to drive sales and revenue growth of a full Equifax solutions portfolio.

What you will do

  • Build and manage client relationships. You'll develop new relationships and nurture existing ones with clients in the telecommunications, energy, and travel industries. You'll work to understand their strategic goals and build trust by providing expert advice and demonstrating the value of our solutions.
  • Act as a trusted consultant. Engage with clients to understand their business challenges and anticipate their needs. You'll position our solutions to help them achieve their goals and solidify Equifax's role as a trusted advisor.
  • Lead account strategy and growth. Create and execute strategic account plans to hit revenue targets and drive profitable growth. You'll identify, manage, and close new business opportunities, collaborating with internal cross-functional teams to align with customer needs.
  • Orchestrate resources and manage the sales process. Effectively leverage Equifax's account, solution, and delivery teams to move opportunities forward. You'll manage the contracting process and conduct business reviews to ensure customer satisfaction and drive strong pipeline development.

What experience you need

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
  • 7-10+ years of experience in a B2B sales role, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas selling complex solution suites
  • Experience managing and growing a book of Enterprise-level clients across multiple functions and geographies in a matrixed environment
  • Knowledge of the credit industry and DaaS sales, strongly preferred
  • Strong computer and sales technology skills including G-Suite, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and Salesforce or other CRM/prospecting resources

What could set you apart

  • Experience selling into the telecommunications, energy/utilities, or travel/hospitality industries or working in a related role in these industries, such as in credit department or credit policy management
  • An understanding of the regulatory environment and FCRA data

Equifax is required by law to include a good-faith salary range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,180 to $145,000. This position is also eligible for our sales incentive compensation program.
