Coordinator for Athletic Grounds (Finance)
1. Provides daily support to maintenance of all athletic fields and grounds
2. Supports the conversion, preparedness, and protection of assigned athletic fields related to intercollegiate athletic and special events.
3. Supervises and executes the conversion, preparedness, and protection of intramural fields and special events.
4. Serves as facility liaison for assigned Athletics facilities. On a daily basis, engages and holds accountable service providers to ensure proper custodial and maintenance for assigned athletics facilities/grounds. Coordinates schedule of use, building security, oversight of building systems and performance of maintenance, custodial and grounds services.
5. Alongside unit leadership, develops and executes event management plans for all events hosted in assigned Athletics facilities.
6. In all settings and in all situations, serves as a positive Ambassador for UH Athletics and UH in general. Effuse positivity and grow affinity for all things UH.
7. Performs other duties/responsibilities as assigned
MQ: Education: Requires specialized training in basic trades, principles, procedures, practice, routines or techniques in a specific area or trade which might normally be acquired through up to 18 months of education or training beyond the high school level. Vocational competence in the operation of mechanical or electronic equipment may be required. Experience: Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience. Certification: Requires a valid Texas Driver's License.
