FUEL PRICING ANALYST (Possibility of remote option) (Finance)
Develop and maintain the pricing analytical direction for retail fuel pricing, using statistical software and economic analysis. Recommend and apply various appropriate statistical models to business challenges using competitor pricing/market data. This role is directly responsible for using fact-based analytics to develop insights to strengthen recommendations around pricing strategies. Ensure everyday pricing is aligned with the Customer 1st Strategy in support of the corporate-specific financial and customer objectives. - Bachelor's Degree Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years experience in technical or analytical role
- Proficient in a wide range of analytical, quantitative, and statistical techniques and tools to derive insights from large, complex data environments
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all business matters
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities and ability to work independently
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with price management tools
- Exceptional ability to extract strategic insights from large data sets
