What will your job look like?
The Director, AI Product Management, plays a key strategic role within the company's organization and is accountable for the oversight and strategic alignment of AI Initiatives. Responsible for guiding the development, launch, and continuous improvement of AI-powered products or features. As a key leader, the Director, AI Product Management will be empowered to coach and mentor to continually grow an understanding of industry needs, AI, seek better outcomes, and challenge teams to focus on delivering innovative value to our stakeholders.
What you'll do:
Provide strategic alignment and coordination of product portfolio
Work closely with Executive Leadership to educate leaders on the Product Life Cycle and align to the needs of the business
Hold leaders accountable for the defined process
Promote and deliver effective AI roadmap that aligns with strategic goals throughout the organization and to our candidates, employees and vendors
Understand value targeting and objective setting for strategic goals
Provide consultative coaching and guidance for product and service owners
Ensure AI capabilities are implemented cohesively across different products with consistent user experiences
Coordinate which AI models/vendors are used across products to maximize ROI and minimize redundancy
Define vision for product organization
Lead ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative AI products
Define product roadmaps and schedules in collaboration with technical and business teams
Regular measurement reporting
Oversee and steer the product development process, ensuring compliance with budget, scope, and project timelines
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure product functionalities are built to the highest standards
Develop and implement product strategies tailored for AI technologies
Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation
Drive and deliver outstanding customer experience for the MTM product suite
Translate complex AI capabilities into user-friendly and valuable solutions for both businesses and consumers
Participate in research exercises to provide leadership insight
Promote AI literacy across the company to align expectations and ensure a shared understanding of what AI can and cannot achieve
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and designers to develop and refine AI models and applications
Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for AI applications
Represent product management in cross unit leadership negotiations
Create frameworks for sharing AI best practices, learnings, and risks across teams
Ensure ethical AI practices
Address concerns like data privacy, bias, and transparency
Actively monitor work output of team to ensure value driven responses and outcomes
Meet, coach and mentor direct reports at least once monthly; this can include providing or seeking feedback, setting expectations, updates and development opportunities
Set and manage performance goals and monthly KPI's for team
What you'll need:
Experience, Education & Certifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with machine learning and AI algorithms
Minimum of 6 years' experience in developing, deploying, and managing AI-driven solutions in clinical and operational settings
Experience in handling sensitive/confidential information
Skills:
Strong knowledge of intricate technicalities of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML)
Understands data collection, modeling, testing, deployment, and ongoing monitoring
Must possess a profound grasp of the ability to network and professionally grow industry relationships
Proven track record of innovation and product delivery
Understands and believes in agile iterative development as a methodology for delivering software to market
Proven ability to lead and mentor multiple direct reports
Financial acumen necessary to comprehend P&L effects and overall business impacts and opportunities at a strategic level
Business acumen to support vetting business cases
Ability to present and manage up to executive level audiences
Ability to lead data driven conversations and metric backed product rationalization initiatives
Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong focus on customers, accountability, teamwork, collaboration and decisiveness
Excellent customer orientation and communication skills

Technical background leading product teams, preferred
Experience working in a client-oriented business in the medical or transportation services industry, preferred
Experience managing multiple product teams with diverse technical infrastructures, preferred

Salary Min: $140,000.00
Salary Max: $210,000.00
