What You Will Do…
As a Lettershop Mechanic
Performs mechanical and electrical repairs, preventative maintenance and job setups on all machines and devises used for the production of mail in the Lettershop.
Starting Base Wage is $12.71 p/h (10% shift pay for 2nd and 3rd shift or $13.98 p/h).
Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities:
• Performs job setups on mail inserting machines, form bursting, folding, and labeling machines, as well as all other mechanical devices used for the production of mail in the Lettershop.
• Performs all necessary preventative maintenance on all machines and mechanical devices used in the Lettershop.
• Performs mechanical repairs on mail inserting machines, form bursting, folder, and labeling machines as well as all other mechanical devices.
• Performs electrical repairs on mail inserting machines, form bursting, folder, and labeling machines as well as all other mechanical devices used for the production of mail in the Lettershop.
The above duties may be performed anywhere from 0 100% of the workday. Employee needs to be able to work in designated department/area and participate, if applicable, in CDS Global's ergonomic stretching/strengthening exercise program.

- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Mechanical experience and basic electrical aptitude required.
- Ability to convey clear information to others, using verbal, written, or other appropriate communication techniques.
- Ability to make independent decisions based upon specific written or verbal guidelines.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Ability to organize tasks and resources in such a way as to complete work in a reasonable time frame.
