This position is responsible for performing the daily processing of inbound/outbound shipments and keeping records of all products shipped and received. Monitors inventory, facilitates accurate rapid entry of data to ensure both timely product recording and shipment.
Principal Responsibilities:
Ensure inbound trucks have proper documentation and verify incoming shipments through physical counts
Process outbound shipments in a timely manner and ensure proper documentation and correctness of material involved including a photo log
Accurately interpret and enter high volume of data into the system in a timely manner in order for internal customers to monitor inventory, production and product movement across the yard
Distributes orders, waybills, etc. to designated recipients daily
Consolidate paper flow from yard and post correct information to proper location or person
Monitor shipments to ensure that customer specific requirements are met
Supports Transportation functions during an emergency response situation
Facilitate communication between Operations and Transportation as needed for successful and timely deliveries
Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy by way of reconciliation after cycle counts in production areas and coordinates annual inventory physical counts and reconciliations
Participate and contribute to company safety program

Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalence
Experience: One year of shipping and transportation experience; one year of data entry experience in an administrative role; manufacturing experience preferred
License/Certification: N/A
