The salary range for this position is $69,500 - $86,900 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. Kendo Total Rewards offerings also include an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental and vision insurance, flex paid time off program, parental leave, employee discount/perks, a retirement plan with employer contributions, Summer Fridays, opportunity to work from anywhere for two weeks during the calendar year and December wellness/shutdown week for applicable positions.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate Manager, Global Education, Multimedia Content is responsible for managing all new content requests across all KENDO brands, establish and foster critical cross functional relationships, maintain the organization of completed assets, track their impact, and regularly share out social trends and Multimedia highlights across the organization. Additionally, this position directly requires the individual to film net new video content on a weekly basis, including editing their own content as well as content from other creators. They are also responsible for managing and maintaining the internal social education network across multiple digital platforms. This includes sourcing talent, editing video and photos, creating and following a posting cadence, and ensuring this platform delivers best in class, relevant training for global in store teams.

The Associate Manager works closely with the Senior Manager, internal KENDO content creators, and global cross functional partners to increase content utilization, maximize the reach of content to new channels, and curate assets to perform successfully for KENDO international teams and their retail partners.

The position can either be Remote within the US or based in our San Francisco headquarters.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Creation, Organization, and Optimization

  • Film and edit content for all brands in the Kendo portfolio
  • Receive all new multimedia content requests and brief in content creators
  • Support successful and timely content delivery by anticipating potential needs and working cross functionally to provide the necessary tools and resources
  • Maintain the organization of all finalized content, and provide edits to existing content when feasible

Trend Analysis and Performance Reporting

  • Tap into new channels, trends, movements, etc., ensuring content is driven by consumer centric messaging to keep Multimedia content relevant
  • Devise and distribute social trend and Multimedia highlight recaps to cross functional partners
  • Manage and organize systems for tracking Multimedia's impact across multiple channels
  • Pull stats from feedback forms and data systems such as Repsly, Survey Monkey, ListenFirst, etc., to track and recap Multimedia initiatives for analysis
  • Provide project updates to the Sr Manager on a consistent basis

Entrepreneurial Spirit and Collaboration

  • Drive engagement on the internal social educational platform, through ideating and executing initiatives to support sales enablement
  • Identify and foster key cross functional relationships
  • Work with International teams on region specific content including writing scripts and translation as needed
  • Own onboarding for any current or future direct reports
  • Perform all other job-related duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 2+ years of related business experience, Beauty or Retail industry preferred.
  • Experience with, and full understanding of, the Sephora and Ulta concept is preferred
  • Comfort being on camera and having likeness used to promote KENDO house of brands
  • Fluidity to support both skincare and artistry
  • Strong aptitude for social media and video editing platforms
  • Superior writing, editing, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, often-changing environment
  • Excellent project management skills, including proven ability to manage projects and partner with various levels in the organization
  • High-level attention to detail and accuracy in execution of work and tasks
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written and communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills- Publisher, InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to travel domestically 10-15%
