Overview Great people make Schneider Electric a great company: This role will be dedicated to support integration solutions for modular data centers out of our West Chester, OH facility. The Industrial Performance Leader is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and operational processes. This role champions Lean, Six Sigma, and other performance improvement methodologies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality and safety. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a passion for operational excellence.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
  • Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and monitor results.
  • Develop and deliver training on continuous improvement tools and techniques.
  • Establish performance metrics and dashboards to track progress and sustain improvements.
  • Support the deployment of digital tools and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement at all levels.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations.
  • Benchmark best practices and integrate them into the organization's operations.

CORE SKILLS:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Minitab, etc.).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and digital manufacturing tools is a plus

Technical Skills :

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and logistics.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and process control (SPC).
  • Skilled in using CI tools such as DMAIC, PDCA, A3 problem-solving, and fishbone diagrams.
  • Experience with digital transformation tools (MES, IoT platforms, digital twins).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, process maps, and workflow diagrams.

Analytical & Strategic Thinking:

  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to drive decisions.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align improvement initiatives with business goals.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of cost drivers and ROI.

Leadership & Communication:

  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills to influence and train others.
  • Strong presentation and report-writing skills for communicating results to stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills to manage resistance to change.

Soft Skills:

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Continuous learner with a growth mindset.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven experience leading Lean or Six Sigma projects
  • Black Belt certification required
