We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Applications Microsoft 365 Engineer to manage and optimize Microsoft 365 services, implement automation solutions, and maintain email security platforms. This role involves leading technical projects, supporting enterprise applications, and improving operational efficiency through scripting and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Conditional Access, Power BI, etc.)
Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and enterprise tools like Automic Automation
Manage email security solutions (Proofpoint, Exchange Online Protection)
Provide Tier 2 support for enterprise applications
Lead small-to-medium technical projects
Maintain system security, compliance, and documentation

This position is responsible for developing, deploying, maintaining, testing and monitoring technology systems for the organization. Serves as an escalation resource for the IT Support Desk and System Administrators for technical matters. Leads and participates in technical projects utilizing skills in requirements gathering, analysis, design and development. Leads application and systems security maintenance, planning and implementation for enterprise applications. Continually identifies and pursues ways to improve the day-to-day operational functions.

Anticipates multiple outcomes by applying a variety of methods and tools to ensure quality services and production readiness
Administers and supports multiple systems and business processes for the organization
Provides proactive solutions to repetitive problems with swift decision-making, minimizing issue resolution time, and improving solutions
Breaks down large problems into manageable ones to determine issue source and resolution using autonomous resourcefulness
Creates actionable requirements by actively and thoughtfully participating in team and vendor discussions, manages expectations, and solves issues
Regularly writes systems documentation that may be used and adapted by others for issue resolution and manages status updates
Leads and efficiently delivers small to moderate size projects as assigned under general supervision of senior staff
Prepares procedural, troubleshooting, recovery, and administration documentation
Participates in Disaster Recovery planning and testing
Administers and patches enterprise application servers as assigned
Participates in training and educational opportunities for ongoing professional development
Research and identify potential future state solutions to support evolving business and technological needs
Performs other duties as assigned
Degree in technical (STEM) field and two years' experience in technical role preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with batch job schedulers, scripting languages and SQL
Knowledge of Operating systems, office software, enterprise software and server systems
Excellent understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes
Understanding of networking systems and protocols
Excellent problem solving skills
Professional written and interpersonal skills when communicating with employees
Experience administering and integrating enterprise applications
Standard office environment with frequent telephone communication, computer operation, and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy and printer machine.
Occasional moving and positioning supplies in excess of 20 pounds
All employees are expected to present themselves in a professional manner in alignment with the financial services industry
Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
Ability to operate standard PC equipment
Ability to handle stress associated with frequent deadline and tight schedules
