The Logistics Analyst's role is to analyze and facilitate the supply chain operations of the organization. He or she will use this information to work collaboratively with our internal teams and external partners to seek, identify and help implement both service improvements and cost reductions within our supply chain.  Additionally, the Logistics Analysts will be responsible for monitoring on going activities in the warehouses and with our transportation partners, and help to identify and resolve any logistics issues.  The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve transportation and warehouse complaints and poor satisfaction responses.
• Daily collaboration with 3PL partners and Sales teams for on time customer shipments
• Lead problem resolution activities for delivery issues.
• Participate in a variety of meetings, and communicating updates and department policy to all functional areas of the organization.
• Utilize online portals offered by the seven 3PL vendors.
• Assist Corporate Distribution Department in new account and product startup to ensure customer and internal requirements are achieved.
• Assist Corporate Distribution Departments in preparing daily, weekly and monthly customer reports as defined by customer requirements.
• Prepare “CPU allowances” quotes as requested by Customer Service and Marketing.
• Track International shipments as needed.
• Review and validate documentation.
• Develop and/or review internal KPI's and Scorecards to determine current opportunity areas.  These areas can include case fill rate, on time delivery, increasing weight per truck and reducing case pick among others.
• Serve collaborative teams that include warehousing transportation and planning teams to identify cost and service improvements with our customers.  Examples would be weight per truck, reducing case pick, or improving on time delivery results. 
• Adhoc issue resolution/forward direction. 

Experience, Skills, Education:

• High School Diploma required, Associates Degree preferred.
• 3-5 Years' experience in Warehousing, Transportation and/or Planning,  preferably in a CPG company.​
• A general understanding or knowledge of the transportation industry.     
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to apply common sense to resolve issues and complete tasks effectively.     
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills.                 
• Ability to analyze and effectively communicate analysis recommendations.
• Strong data extraction and task management skills required.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and manage to deadlines. 
• Demonstrate a strong drive for results.
• Self-starter with a passion for analysis, identification and resolution.
• Ability to analyze and leverage KPI's to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
