Site Reliability Engineer - Night Shift (Finance)

What is the opportunity?

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will become part of an experienced engineering team, which is building a large-scale UEM platform as a service. You and your team will be responsible for identifying/delivering any observability, scalability, predictability, reliability gaps within UEM platform/services. Within your first 30 days of joining our team, you will not only acquire a fundamental comprehension of the product's architecture and primary operational procedures, but also a basic understanding of the monitoring tools used within the product.

Here is a breakdown:

• Utilize your knowledge in .NET Framework and .NET Core web services for troubleshooting and remediation production issues.

• Work with cross-functional teams in the organization and help establish SLOs and drive consistent efforts to achieve those SLOs.

• Identify and recommend areas in which there is insufficient observability.

• Respond to customer incidents and escalations and help prioritize engineering work, from whole initiatives to sprint tasks.

• Build automation tools, which helps the team to improve observability and troubleshooting.

What will you bring to Omnissa?

• Strong expertise in Application Development, IT Operations (SRE, DevOps) and Software Development experience with C# or Java or GO or Groovy or Python.

• Hands on experience with the following technologies: AWS, vSphere, Google Cloud Platform; network protocols and Linux/Unix system internals and CI/CD tools and technology like Github Actions and Artifactory; IAC/CM technology like Terraform, Helm, Chef and Salt; infrastructure technologies such as Network, Database, Server, Storage; OS (Linux and Windows).

• Experience with the following monitoring tools to discover and analyze reliability issues: Dynatrace, Logz.io, Wavefront, Kibana, dotTrace/dotMemory, SentryOne.

• Willingness to take up PagerDuty or equivalent in shifts to provide support for P0 issues and adhere to SLAs.
