Attendance Manager -Evernorth- Remote (Finance)



The Attendance Manager is responsible for leading a team of 8-10 Attendance Leaders, ensuring the effective management and analysis of employee attendance data. This role requires strong leadership skills to foster a high-performing team, strategic thinking to drive continuous improvement initiatives, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with attendance policies and labor laws. The Attendance Manager will play a crucial role in standardizing processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring alignment across diverse business segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the process of selection, hiring, training, performance assessment and management for team of Attendance leaders
  • Provide clear guidance, support, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing attendance management processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices.
  • Continuously refine processes based on feedback from leaders and employees.
  • Develop and enforce standardized attendance management procedures across different business units.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment in attendance tracking and reporting practices.
  • Oversee adherence to attendance policies and labor regulations.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support policy enforcement and disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and compliance of attendance records.
  • Partner with HR and department managers to address and resolve attendance-related challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, management, and other stakeholders.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding attendance records and policies.
  • Deliver training sessions on attendance policies, procedures, and the importance of accurate reporting.
  • Promote the significance of compliance and accurate attendance tracking.

Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree highly preferred
  • 2+ years of prior direct people management experience with demonstrated results in leading and developing a team preferred
  • Proven experience in attendance management or similar role highly preferred
  • Proficiency in HR and scheduling management software and reporting (Ie. workday; Verint, etc.) spreadsheets and data analysis tools.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of attendance analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Must be skilled in addressing and resolving team conflicts, ensuring a positive and productive workplace culture.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
  • Must have commitment to delivering excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must have the ability to Identify attendance-related issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Must be skilled in analyzing attendance data to generate reports and identify trends for improvement.
  • Must be able to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive attendance information.
  • Skilled in using office software (Microsoft Office Suite) and HR management software.
  • Must have commitment to ongoing evaluation and refinement of processes.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 85,100 - 141,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
