Your Role: Process Operator – Packaging
As a Process Operator - Packaging, you will be part of the C1 Operations team responsible for producing animal health products that meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. In this role, you'll be responsible for formulation, blending, bagging, and labeling, while maintaining cGMP compliance and driving continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
Your Responsibilities:
Operate large-scale processing equipment and troubleshoot production issues using data analysis
Ensure all production activities comply with cGMP, safety, and environmental regulations
Complete accurate and compliant documentation for batch records, SOPs, and sample submissions
Operate fork trucks and handle heavy materials (up to 60 lbs)
Communicate process issues and improvement opportunities to team members and leadership
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience: Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Top 2 skills: Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
Experience in bagging operations
Familiarity with flammable solvent handling
Troubleshooting experience with vacuum, labeling, and vision systems
Demonstrated initiative in safety improvements
Prior experience working 12-hour rotating shifts
Additional Information:
Location: Clinton, IN Manufacturing Site
Shift: 12-hour rotating day shift with possible transition to night shifts depending on business needs
This position is a fixed duration employee with a one-year contract, annually renewable for up to 4 years with a potential for a full-time position, based on individual performance and business needs.
