Civil Engineer, EIT (Finance)

Your Role:
- Water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure design that includes permitting, hydraulic design, storm drain systems, water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection systems
- Site planning and transportation facility design that includes permitting, highway, street, recreation paths, grading, and erosion control
- Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses
- Support preparation of detailed engineering reports and supporting documents
- Support preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
- Ensure standard engineering practices and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects
- Evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues and interface with other engineering disciplines
- Resolve questions, plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost-effective and compliant manner
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil, Environmental or related Engineering; MS preferred
- 0-5 years of experience with increasing responsibility in the municipal engineering sector
- Licensed EIT or ability and interest to obtain EIT and/or be in active pursuit of registration
- Experience in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Project
Be highly motivated and a high-performance team member
- Knowledge of data collection and tabulation in preparation of scientific documents.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Ability to format and produce reports as well as the ability to maintain file management.
- Attention to detail
- The successful candidate will work as a problem solver, will have an interest and ability to work in a collaborative manner, and will have the flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
- Must be able to manage time well and work on tasks as part of a larger project team.
- Candidate should be self-motivated and able to take directions.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $88,000, depending on experience
