The Impact You'll Make in this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Analyst to manage and support the IT infrastructure of a dynamic production environment. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, security, and compliance of systems supporting six production lines, R&D labs, and quality/safety equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams during a major infrastructure migration.

Key Responsibilities/Duties Include:

  • Network Infrastructure Management: Maintaining the Network Infrastructure for the entire production plant to ensure reliable and secure connectivity across various systems. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to production, quality and safety equipment, and R&D Lab Equipment.


  • Server and System Management: Build, Manage and Maintain the production servers and systems that support 6 different production lines. Implement backup and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard data integrity and availability. Perform regular system updates, patches, and security audits.

  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the company's IT Infrastructure adheres to healthcare industry standards and regulations e.g., HIPAA, FDA guidelines. Implement and monitor security protocols such as firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Work with the compliance team to address any security gaps and respond to audits.


  • System Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Monitor the performance of all IT Infrastructure components, including servers, networks, and storage. Address issues related to slow system performance, hardware failures, and downtime to ensure minimal disruption to production. Implement automated monitoring tools to alert staff to potential issues before they affect production.

  • Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination: Built, Manage and Maintain relationships and Coordination with various vendors regarding managing over 100 different types of Lab Equipment.


  • Incident Management and Troubleshooting: Respond to IT-related incidents and resolve issues that may impact 24x7 production lines. Document and track incidents and resolutions in an IT Service Management System: ServiceNow.

  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Since being part of the Period where Solventum is being spun off from the Parent Company. Position requires work closely with the IT Support teams, EY Planning teams and Production staff to ensure the total migration of the system to a Totally new Infrastructure.


  • End-User Support: Provide technical support for Internal users regarding infrastructure issues. Develop training materials or guides for users on how to use IT Infrastructure systems effectively.


  • Applications: Support issues related to various In-Home grown applications, and requires a complete fluency in End User support: SAP, M365, ServiceNow, PowerBI, Jira, Intune/Entra, Powerapps , and Network Infrastructure: NMAP, Wireshark, ClearPass, Linux, including some scripting fluency in Unix system and Windows Powershell/CMD. Position includes basic knowledge of Production OT Softwares such as FactoryTalk, Cimplicity, Historian Apps, SQL, Cognex, and National Instruments Software.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity/Information Technology and 5+ Years of IT infrastructure support, preferably in a production or healthcare environment.
  • CompTIA Security+: SYO-601
  • Strong experience of network and server management.
  • Strong experience with compliance standards (HIPAA, FDA).
  • Strong experience with enterprise and OT applications.
  • Knowledge and experience working in Cryptography, Data Structure and Algorithm
  • Experience in Linux Operation Systems, Computer Network Systems, Information System Assurance and Network Essentials

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $106,331 - $129,960, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
