Sr Marketing Operations Manager (Finance)



Job Purpose

As a Senior Marketing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the marketing operations function, ensuring the efficient execution of marketing strategies, and optimizing processes to drive growth. Your expertise in data analysis and process improvement will be crucial in identifying opportunities for improvements and in enhancing the overall performance of our marketing efforts. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and finance, to ensure seamless integration and execution of marketing strategies.

You will manage the marketing technology stack, ensuring that tools and platforms are utilized effectively to support campaign execution and measurement. You will be responsible for developing and implementing processes that streamline operations and improve the efficiency of marketing workflows, including lead lifecycle management and attribution tracking.Your ability to analyze marketing data and generate actionable insights will be key in driving informed decision-making and optimizing marketing spend.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Lead and manage the marketing operations function: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.

Develop and implement marketing operations strategies: Create and execute plans to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness.

Reporting and insights: Generate regular reports and independently provide insights to senior leadership on marketing performance and opportunities for improvement.

Analyze marketing performance: Monitor and analyze key metrics to measure the success of marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Optimize marketing processes: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline marketing workflows.

Manage marketing technology stack: Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of marketing tools and platforms.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams (including senior leadership) to align strategies and achieve business goals.

Budget management: Develop and manage the marketing operations budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience

5+ years of experience in B2B marketing operations

Proven experience creating reporting and analytics frameworks, complex data compilation and analysis, and translating data into compelling visuals and actionable information

Deep understanding of the modern B2B sales model and how to track and measure progress through the funnel

Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, and visual BI analytics tools

Exceptional critical thinking, analytical and quantitative skills

Competencies

Strong teaming skills and experience to bring together diverse views and communicate/collaborate effectively

Strong creative, problem solving and strategic thinking abilities for developing and managing operational processes

Exceptional critical thinking, analytical and quantitative skills to organize marketing data sets

Ability to work independently and pro-actively in a fast-paced environment with multiple responsibilities and deadlines

Work Environment:

Standard work environment / Remote work environment

Majority of time spent on PC

Physical demands:

Travel occasionally required
