Sr Advanced Mech Design Engr (Finance)



As a Senior Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of cutting-edge mechanical solutions. Your strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies will ensure that the products developed under your leadership meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and performance of our aerospace products by leading the mechanical design process and driving innovation in our engineering solutions.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with CAD proficiency in NX and CATIA V5 or Pro E, with Model Base Design.
  • Proficient in 2D Drafting and 3D modeling per product design standards.
  • Knowledge in DRM & DSH and ASME Y14.5M Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
  • Knowledge of Product Data Structures in a CAD environment (Teamcenter).

Mechanical Design Engineer working with the different value streams for modeling and drawing activities focus on 3D modeling validation and GOM analysis. Responsible for the designs and details of the hardware. Requires extensive interaction with manufacturing shops, tool room, thermal analysis, project engineering, design integration, materials, and reverse engineering processes to meet all requirements. Requires individuals to develop design concepts, 3D models, and detailed drawings for manufacturing. The individual is expected to conduct design reviews, perform analysis and produce documentation of most design activities within Honeywell policies and procedures. Applicants should be experienced in establishing and/or working in a cross-functional team environment.About Us
