Job Description:
As a Design Manager at Willett Engineering, your main responsibilities are to act as a leader and
manager to other engineers as well as perform design work with little assistance from others.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Possess a solid grasp of structural design and the construction industry with the ability to teach
others as required.
· Can design and produce construction documents effectively as an individual.
· Has the ability to review the work and construction documents from team members.
· Performs tasks of construction administration as required.
· Creates project budgets and proposals with a coordinated effort with the administrative staff.
· Tracks time spent on projects by all team members and initiates any required fee increases.
· Reviews and approves monthly invoices.
· Represents the company in dealings with outside entities, including those settings that may
require actions on behalf of the company.
· Demonstrates the ability to manage several employees effectively. This includes
administratively as well as engineering.
