Local Truck Driver (Transportation)

This position is responsible for Transportation between the Manufacturing facility at Hurlock and the two local warehouses. Not responsible for over-the-road driving.
Essential Job Functions
Transfer finished goods from the production site to the Nealson Street and Preston, MD Site.
Transfer finished goods and raw materials from warehouses to the production site and production site to Hurlock, MD.
Unload inbound transfers at the Hurlockand production site.
Perform Trailer Inspections,
Recoup damage when necessary.
Assist in housekeeping activities at the Hurlock , Nealson Street and Preston Site.
Perform job functions in line with the SQF Code.
Attend training provided and suggested.
Responsible for keeping trailers clean and swept out free of debris and water.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Important Other Skills/Abilities
Fork Truck experience in a Warehouse setting.
Work efficiently with little supervision.
Experience in Tractor/Trailer Transport.
H.S. diploma or equivalent.
Possess current CDL.
Eligible to work in the United States.

Physical Demand Characteristics
Medium - Lifts 25 lbs. or less frequently; lifts 50 lbs. occasionally.
Walks and/or stands most of the day.
Bends and stoops frequently.
Reaches overhead and stoops frequently.
May push/pull, climb.
These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the above job.
While performing the responsibilities of the above job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Compensation:
Base Pay Range:
$22.21 - $37.01Final base pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to; role responsibilities, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and/or internal pay equity. Please keep in mind that we consider internal pay equity and hiring at the maximum of the salary range uncommon.
